Peter Timmins is Interim Convener of the Australian Open Government Partnership Network and a member of the Interim Working Group established by Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet. In 2017 he was awarded the Press Freedom Medal by the Australian Press Council for his long involvement and advocacy for improved access to information law, and Australian membership of the Open Government Partnership.
