Margaret Thornton is Emerita Professor of Law and ANU Public Policy Fellow at the Australian National University. She has degrees from Sydney, University of NSW and Yale, and is a Barrister of the High Court of Australia. She has researched and published extensively on issues relating to discrimination law, feminist legal theory, the legal profession and the corporatisation of universities. She is a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences in Australia and a Foundation Fellow of the Australian Academy of Law.
