James Barrett has served as Senior Associate to the Hon. Justice Edelman of the High Court of Australia, Associate to the Hon. Justice Jagot of the Federal Court of Australia, and as a Law Clerk for the Australian Government Solicitor, in addition to roles in teaching, private practice and Royal Commissions. He holds a JD (Hons I, University Medal, Supreme Court Judges' Prize) from the ANU and a BSc from the University of Sydney.
