Dr Catherine Bond is a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Law, UNSW Sydney. Her PhD thesis examined the constitutional, legislative and historical foundations of the public domain under Australian copyright law. Catherine’s research primarily relates to intellectual property law and she has published articles in areas ranging from the constitutionality of plain packaging of tobacco products, to government-owned copyright, to the introduction of a patent system in the Game of Thrones world of Westeros.
