Benjamin B Saunders is an Associate Professor at Deakin Law School. His research interests include constitutional law and interpretation, freedom of religion, and natural law. He holds a PhD in constitutional law from the University of Queensland. His publications include the monograph Responsible Government and the Australian Constitution: A Government for a Sovereign People (Hart Studies in Comparative Public Law, 2023) and articles in leading national and international law journals, including the Oxford Journal of Legal Studies.
