Professor Anthony Gray researches and teaches public law and is Associate Head - Research in the School of Law and Justice, University of Southern Queensland. He is the sole author of approximately 140 refereed research articles, and has published in the University of New South Wales Law Journal, Sydney Law Review, Federal Law Review and Public Law Review, as well as in international journals. He has authored six research monographs to date: Criminal Due Process and Chapter III of the Australian Constitution (Federation Press, 2016), Presumption of Innocence in Peril: A Comparative Critical Perspective (Lexington Books, 2017), Vicarious Liability: Critique and Reform (Hart Publishing Oxford, 2018), Freedom of Speech in the Western World: Comparison and Critique (Lexington Books, 2019), Freedom of Speech in Practice: Controversial Applications of Law and Theory (Lexington Books, 2019) and The Evolution from Strict Liability to Fault in the Law of Torts (Hart Publishing Oxford, 2021).
