Professor Andrew Lynch teaches and researches in the field of Australian constitutional law at the University of New South Wales. His research concentrates on the topics of federalism and the judiciary, especially judicial appointments and judicial dissent and decision-making. He is a member and former director of the Gilbert + Tobin Centre of Public Law at UNSW.
