Dr Joe McIntyre is an Associate Professor at the University of South Australia School of Law. His work is principally in the field of Judicial Studies, examining the nature and implications of the judicial function. His theoretical foundation is applied to diverse issues, including judicial dissent and culture, civil procedural reform, decision-making methodologies, accountability and independence. He currently teaches Administrative Law, Torts, and Jurisprudence, and has previously held teaching posts in Canada and the UK.
